The Mountain: A Tiny Home With a Skylight Shower

At just 150 square feet, The Mountain is a tiny home that makes a big impression.

Designed by CoMak Tiny Homes, this compact home on wheels measures only 13 feet long by 8 feet wide. Inside, it fits a living area, kitchen, bathroom, and loft bedroom into an impressively small footprint.

Bringing the Outdoors In

The Mountain was designed to feel open despite its size. Large windows and French doors bring in plenty of natural light, while warm cedar and oak finishes give the interior a cozy cabin feel.

The loft bedroom features a king-size mattress and a large skylight, letting occupants look up at the sky from bed.

But the most memorable feature may be the bathroom.

The cedar-lined shower has its own skylight directly overhead, creating the feeling of showering outdoors while staying comfortably inside.

Making Every Inch Count

The compact kitchen includes a small dining area, while built-in storage helps keep the limited floor space uncluttered.

The home was also designed with tiny and off-grid living in mind, with features including a composting toilet, freshwater tank, and on-demand water heater.

CoMak later expanded the Mountain concept into larger versions, but the original remains a great example of how much can be accomplished in a very small space.

The Mountain doesn't try to hide its size. Instead, it uses natural light, clever design, and a strong connection to the outdoors to make 150 square feet feel like a real retreat.

Small footprint, big experience.
